Nanook swim team competes in conference championships

Last week the Nanook swim team competed in the four day PCSC conference championships. In the second day Martha Hood came in tenth in the finals of the 50 yard freestyle. They competed in the 200 yard freestyle relay and the team placed eighth. In the next day, three members of the team made it to the finals of their races. Hood and Victoria Adams both competed in the finals of the 100 yard backstroke finals. Hood came in third and Adams placed seventh. On the final day, Katie Stark finished in third in the 100 yard freestyle. Adams came in seventh in the 100 individual medley and 12th in the 200 yard backstroke. The 400 yard freestyle relay team finished in eleventh. Cassidy Heaton came in seventh in the 1650 free. The Nanooks team came in eleventh in the PCSC championships.
